Notes from Chuck
Hi Everybody,
I hope you are having a great week! God is doing some cool things right now at Crossbridge, and there are some cool opportunities for us to advance His Gospel in our city. Let me encourage you to pray about getting involved in one of two opportunities:
- The first is our Crossbridge Kids ministry on Sundays. Did you know about 1/3 of our church is 12 or under! There is so much fun and life-change happening in our Crossbridge Kids Ministry. Why don’t you pray right now about serving in this awesome ministry? You can do everything from teaching a Bible lesson to just rocking babies. Contact Tisha Rich, our Children’s Minister, at tisha@crossbridge.cc to get more information.
- Next, as our 11:15 service grows, we should do everything in our power to help people feel welcomed. When we welcome new people we are demonstrating the gospel; as the Father opened His heart to us, we should open our community up to new people. God is bringing us new people every week! A great way to help create a welcoming, life-giving community is to serve as a greeter on Sunday. Will you pray about being a part of creating a welcoming culture by serving as a greeter on Sundays? If you are willing to do this, will you e-mail jennifer@crossbridge.cc?
We continue to talk about Community Groups this Sunday with another story of how God uses them to help people grow in living a Jesus-centered life. If you missed last weeks video story, go here to watch it. The video team did an amazing job!
If you are a Partner of Crossbridge, let me encourage you to come out to our Partner’s Vision Night on Tuesday, January 26. It will be a great night of celebrating and anticipating what God can do! E-mail jennifer@crossbridge.cc to RSVP for dinner and childcare.
This Sunday, we will wrap up our series “ID: Discovering Your Spiritual Identity.” If you have missed out on this series, go to our website and check out the messages. Not because you need to hear my voice, but you need to hear the scriptures and wrestle with some of the stuff we’ve been wrestling with. If you would like to dive deeper into this or you have more questions and want to study more, let me give you some books that might be helpful to you:

See-ya Sunday!
