Psalm 92:12-15 says “the righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”
Our vision moving into this new school year for your students is to see them truly meet Jesus.
We want to provide the environment for that relationship to flourish and grow so that in the hard times their faith can withstand the trials of this world and will allow them to bear fruit down the road. We plan to accomplish this by providing an exciting environment that they would look forward to each week. We have heard from a large number of parents and students as to what we could change for Crossbridge Students to increase the health of the ministry.
In this season we sense moving from Sunday night to Wednesday nights starting in the Fall (September 4th) will allow us to better serve your students.
What that looks like:
Connexus Night will be an event that will take place the first Wednesday of the month at 7:06pm until 8:45pm. These nights will be big, fun-filled nights that make it easy for your kids to invite friends and introduce the theme for the month.Small Group Nights will take place the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month. Our adult leaders will guide our students into deeper conversations about the topic. Some of our upcoming themes are Anxiety and Conflict.
Our goal is to promote students engaging at a higher level on Sunday mornings by being under the teaching of The Word as well as serving.
I am praying for you and your students as we start the new school year. Let us pray together that God would move in our church and homes this Fall.
