Keeping Your Child Safe

Crossbridge Kids works hard to ensure the safety of all children, here’s how:

Background Checks – All servants undergo a thorough background check in addition to submitting an extensive application outlining their faith walk and motivation for serving with kids.

Tag System – Upon signing in your child each Sunday, you will receive a sticker tag.  Shepherds (teachers) actively match parent tags with child tags when parents pick up. Shepherds will not release a child to anyone (even siblings) if they do not present a matching tag at pick up time.

Security – A police officer keeps a watchful eye on the children’s area each Sunday from inside the church.

Paging System – Every child sticker tag features a number that matches the number on the parent tag. If a Shepherd needs a parent to come back during the service, that number will be displayed on the front screens of the main church service.

Cleanliness –Classrooms have a laundry list of cleanliness standards for diaper changing, handling babies and sanitation. Baby blankets and burp cloths are laundered; toys are disinfected prior to each service.
