A Note from Chuck About Father’s Day

Crossbridge Family,

I have missed being with you these past few weeks! I am so grateful to our Elders for allowing me time to rest, refuel and spend time playing, praying and planning for future messages.  We begin our brand-new message series “DIFFERENT: A Study of 1 Peter” this Father’s Day, and I am super excited about it.

Will you be praying with me for Father’s Day?  We are using this Sunday as a strategic day to introduce our friends and family to Crossbridge with the hope they hear the gospel and are transformed by its power.  I have been praying for this day during my whole break and want to ask you as we are days away from Father’s Day to join me in praying for four things…

  1. That we would be bold and winsome in our invitations to Father’s Day @ Crossbridge.
  2. That people would respond and attend one of our services.
  3. That they would experience the presence of God in a life-changing way through our love for people, gracious hospitality, and gospel-centered worship service.
  4. That it wouldn’t rain until after the event!

You are an inviting church, Crossbridge!  God has used you to change the way people think about God, Christians and the Church, and I know He will use you again this coming Sunday on Father’s Day.

It is a joy being your pastor!
