NOTE FROM CHUCK
Dear Crossbridge Family,
This fall continues to be a strong time of growth for us. We are seeing a ton of First Time Guests, and many are coming because you have invited them! Way to go! God is using you to make a difference in people’s lives. Rejoice in that today! We are also seeing people take next steps of faith through baptisms, faith decisions, joining Groups for the first time, and various other responses to the Spirit’s work among us. Let’s be grateful for what God is doing and continue to expect He will do great things among us.
As I mentioned in last week’s video message and briefly on Sunday, we have fallen behind in our giving. Our staff and elders are committed to living within our means, so we have drastically cut spending. Our generous giving not only demonstrates our priority of putting the things of God first in our life, but also is the fuel for the mission of God at Crossbridge. Let me encourage you, if you call Crossbridge your church, to consider automating your giving. Kathleen and I did this at the beginning of our Unfinished journey, and it has been a great way to keep our commitment in front of us. You can go here to set that up today. For those of you who are regularly giving, thank you so much for your joyful generosity! God is using it to accomplish great things as mentioned above.
Please be in prayer for two things. Pray God will continue to provide so our current ministry and our Harlem Road Building Project won’t be hindered in any way and pray we will continue to be a church community marked by joyful generosity placing our trust in God and committed to the mission and ministry He ordains on this earth.
God is at work at Crossbridge! This week we will seek to answer the question “What’s the deal with spiritual warfare?” in week 4 of our series “You Asked For It”. I can’t wait to worship with you all then!
With much love,
PS: To help with financial communication we have updated our Unfinished dashboard at the bottom of this update. If you have any questions about this, please e-mail our Executive PastorJosh Kass.
