Annual Partnership Renewal
The mission of Crossbridge Church is to “honor God by making growing followers of Jesus Christ.” A local church is a community of followers of Jesus seeking to grow in their dedication to Jesus, commitment to each other and dedication to reach those outside God’s family with the Gospel of Christ.
Our Annual Partnership Renewal (APR) is essential to partnership and partnership is essential to our mission and strategy. The heart of APR is to ensure that we are fulfilling the commitment we made to our partners, to encourage their spiritual growth and provide environments in which they can serve and thrive in being continually transformed by the gospel. We will not be able to do that if we don’t stay current with our partners.
Why do we say partners?
We call our members “partners” so that they will have a constant reminder that joining a church is a commitment to accomplishing the mission of God with us, and this mission entails focusing more on the needs of others than on ourselves.
Is the APR required?
It is required to continue as a Partner of Crossbridge Church. The church is the spiritual family of God. A function of a healthy family is to encourage, edify and spur one another on to love and good deeds. Our desire is that APR will be a tool to help us know who’s committed to Crossbridge so that we might care for them on their spiritual journey.
Is this legalistic?
Legalism is adding to the law for the sake of salvation. APR is not an issue of salvation but is an issue of partnership. The gospel is clear that salvation is through faith alone, on the basis of grace alone, by the work of Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are not asking partners to do anything apart from scripture, the purpose of partnership commitments and renewing those commitments is to equip believers toward life transformation and church health.

The APR process involves you completing this short survey so that we might have record of your commitment to the mission and to the body of Crossbridge Church. After you submit your answers to the questions you will receive an e-mail confirming your renewal or non-renewal of partnership.
