A New Chapter

Dear Crossbridge Family,

In the summer of 1998 I was a youth pastor looking for someone to lead worship for our Wednesday night Youth Bible Study.  My intern Eric told me his best friend could lead worship and bring a band with him.  I told him to go for it and book his friend.  That was my first contact with Tim Barosh. Tim would later become the worship leader for a young adult service I led, which in turn led to him becoming the Worship Pastor of Crossbridge and above all, one of my best friends.  I have seen Tim grow from a young adult to a mature man of God who loves his wife and children passionately.  Not only has our friendship grown over these years, but my respect for him as a leader and Christian has grown as well.

So it is with a bittersweet heart that I write to tell you that Tim has resigned as Worship Pastor of Crossbridge Church and has accepted a position as the Worship Pastor of Lonestar Cowboy Church in Conroe.  Tim has prayed about this and feels the Lord is calling him and his family to this new position.  I am happy for Tim as he is sensing God’s leadership in his life and is following Him, and I am sad for us losing a great Worship Pastor and for myself in not getting to work with my friend anymore on a weekly basis.

July 12th will be Tim’s last Sunday with us.  We will have a special time after each service for you to express your appreciation and feelings for Tim and Melanie.  We will be giving Tim and Melanie a financial gift, but I want you to feel free to show your love and appreciation for the Barosh family any way you want to.  If you would like to give to them financially through the office, just write the check to Crossbridge and put “Barosh” in the memo line.

I hope you will be here on the 12th to bless the Barosh family and give them your best wishes and prayers.

As we say goodbye to dear friends and we start a new chapter of ministry at Crossbridge, I encourage you to remember the words of the great song Tim has led us in many times, “He gives and takes away, but my heart will choose to say: Blessed be the name of the Lord!”

Blessing His Name with you,

Chuck
